Billing

ACT3 AI uses a credit-based billing model with tiered subscription plans. Credits are consumed when generating AI video, images, and assets. Each plan includes monthly credits, cloud storage, and feature access. For the full per-model cost catalog, see Pricing Details.

Commercial Use​

Commercial use rights are included starting with the Pro plan ($175/month), which permits commercial distribution for audiences up to 100,000. Enterprise unlocks unlimited commercial use with no audience cap. The Starter plan is for personal, non-commercial use only. For team management, see Teams. Intellectual Property​

Your Organization owns all projects and generated content created within it. ACT3 AI maintains a rights ledger that timestamps every asset creation event — useful for IP disputes, investor pitches, and festival submissions.

Dormant Asset Retention​

Starter plan organizations have videos automatically deleted after 4 months of inactivity. Pro and Enterprise plans retain assets indefinitely while the subscription is active. You receive an email warning before any deletion occurs.

Monthly Spending Cap​

In Organization Settings → Billing, you can enable a monthly spend cap and set a maximum dollar amount. When the cap is reached, all generation stops until the next billing cycle or you raise the cap. Individual member credit limits provide an additional layer of control.

Credit Rollover​

Unused credits roll over into a Rollover Bank at the end of each billing period. Each plan has a maximum bank capacity as shown in the plan table above. Credits in the rollover bank are drawn from automatically after your monthly credits are exhausted. Credits in the rollover bank expire if you cancel or downgrade your subscription.

Changing Your Plan​

Plans can be upgraded or downgraded at any time from Settings → Plans and Billing:

  • Upgrading — Takes effect immediately. Unused credits from the current period transfer to your rollover bank.
  • Downgrading — Takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellation — Your account stays active until the end of the paid period. After that, the account is deactivated and remaining rollover credits expire.

Billing History​

View invoices and payment receipts from Settings → Billing → Billing History. Each invoice includes:

  • Billing period dates
  • Plan tier and monthly charge
  • Additional credit purchases
  • Storage overages if applicable

Payment Methods​

ACT3 AI accepts:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Enterprise customers: wire transfer and annual invoicing

Update your payment method at any time from Settings → Billing → Payment Methods.

Best Practices​

  • Monitor your credit balance regularly from the Dashboard
  • Set up billing alerts at 20% and 5% remaining balance
  • Upgrade before large production runs to ensure sufficient credits
  • Use draft renders throughout production to minimize credit consumption
