How to Choose an AI Video Platform: A Buyer's Checklist
Short answer: Choose an AI video platform by scoring it on eight things, in this order: (1) the scope it covers — clip generator, storyboard tool, or full script-to-render pipeline; (2) directorial control — can you specify camera, lens, lighting, and blocking, or only describe them; (3) consistency — does the same character survive 200 shots; (4) collaboration and permissions — can your team work in it without stepping on each other or your budget; (5) cost transparency — do you see spend before you commit, not after; (6) rights and ownership — who owns the output and can you use it commercially; (7) export and integration — does it hand off cleanly to Premiere, Resolve, and your channels; and (8) model flexibility — are you locked to one generative engine.
