Cut to the track

ACT 3's timeline is built for frame-level work. It zooms from a full-piece overview down to single-frame detail with auto-scaling time markers, and a smart scroll-cache algorithm renders the nearest frame immediately so scrubbing across the track never drops to black. Timeline rows are hierarchical and expandable — beats, camera angles, motion, and audio as separate rows — so you can see your cuts against the waveform rather than guessing.

Two features do most of the work for music video specifically:

  • Keyframe management. Add, edit, and delete keyframes directly on the timeline to control property changes over time — camera movement and character position — with undo-friendly behaviour. This is how a push-in finishes exactly on the downbeat instead of approximately near it.
  • Selection-based playback. Select a block of shots, play only that block, auto-pause at the end and reset the playhead. Tuning a chorus is a loop-and-adjust process, and this is the tool for it.
